According to the Educational Authority the validity period of the student ID card stickers has changed.

Due to technical problems with student ID cards the Educational Authority in cooperation with the Ministry for Innovation and Technology has asked the public transport service providers to accept student ID cards validated with a sticker for the 2021/2022 academic year for general education and for the spring term of the 2021/2022 academic year for higher education until 30 November 2022, and to accept student ID certificates expiring between 25 October 2022 and 3 November 2022, until 12 November 2022.

Students can use their previous student card for public transport as described above. It is important to note that the above discounts do not apply to working by student employment agency, only to public transport discounts.
